BCP measures
Our company focuses strongly on BCP ( Business Continuity Plan). In the event of a natural disaster, we have preventative measures put in place at our main factory in Meiwa. We have seawalls for flood prevention and we have adopted a double-prevention system, including external warehouses and a JIT system (Just-in-time system). To avoid human casualties, we are putting efforts into building a contact system network and stockpiling emergency food for employees.
We are consistently taking all possible measures to continue offering a stable supply of products when unexpected troubles arise.
Seawall installation as protective measures against Tsunamis.
According to the "Tsunami Simulation Study Report for Tokai, Tonankai, and Nankai Earthquake Countermeasures" prepared by Mie Prefecture, the maximum inundation depth in the vicinity of the Meiwa Factory is 0 m. To further reduce tsunami risk, we installed a 1.2 m seawall on the SMT manufacturing floor and tide protection shutters. We are aiming to prevent flood damage to SMT equipment and to ensure a stable supply of products without stopping the supply chain.
External warehouse
Through our JIT system (Just in time system), our products can be transported and stored on the same day in a warehouse 12 meters above sea level.
The JIT system in combination with our external warehouse acts as a double prevention system for ultimate damage prevention.
Employee Safety
We believe it our utmost duty to ensure the safety of our employees. In the case of an emergency in which our employees and surrounding civilians are unable to escape, our factory is stocked with enough water and food rations for 200 people for 3 days.
The facilities are also equipped with in-house power generators to enable continuous use of flushing toilets and other facilities and we are in the process of including a contact system for confirming employee safety in a disaster.

When we received requests like the ones above, we can set up private manufacturing sites for each project with restricted access to the room via IC cards. We also will assign each project an exclusive team of workers. Fabless and development companies without factories can use our manufacturing sites as if it their own.
